    Oppo has announced the rollout of the ColorOS 16 May 2026 update for the Find and Reno series smartphones.

    The update is headlined by Live Space, which is now smooth and smart to interact with, offering an immersive, responsive, and refined lock-screen experience with fluid animations, while the capsule-style notifications display real-time updates through a clean, distraction-free interface.

    The ColorOS 16 update also brings updated O+ Connect, which now allows seamless cross-platform file sharing and connectivity between Oppo and Apple devices.

    Additionally, the ColorOS 16 update comes with a bunch of AI-powered organization and creativity features, including AI Mind Pilot, AI Grouping, AI Menu Translation, AI Popout, and AI Scan.

    AI-powered organization and creativity features coming with ColorOS 16 May 2026 update

    That’s not all. The ColorOS 16 May 2026 update also improves Live Translation, adds an AI Recording Sticker, and enhances App Cloner to run up to three clones of supported apps.

    • Adds seamless animations when switching between apps such as Messages, Weather and Calendar for smoother switching.
    • Supports swiping up or down to browse stacked AI Suggest widgets while editing. Aligns the visual design and interactions with home screen widgets for a more consistent user experience.
    • Adds AI-powered summaries for Live Translation, generating automatic titles and summaries for translated conversations.
    • Improves Live Translation with context awareness for more accurate real-time interpretation.
    • Adds AI Recording Sticker, allowing text and image markers to be added while recording or reviewing audio to capture key moments.
    • Supports rich visual summaries, allowing you to generate summaries with images, tables, flowcharts, and diagrams for better clarity (supported markets: Belarus, Russia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia).
    • Improves App Cloner to run up to three clones of supported apps for easier switching between work, daily and entertainment use.
    • Adds the LUMO watermark for enhanced image branding.
    • Improves recording summaries by combining text and image markers to highlight key information more clearly.
    • Supports finding apps by color in Drawer mode.
    • Improves the Eye Comfort settings page with a cleaner layout and simpler controls.

    Oppo says it started rolling out the ColorOS 16 May 2026 update in phases on May 5, and the rollout will be complete by May 31. You can find the list of eligible smartphones in the image below.
