After a lengthy teaser campaign, the OnePlus 15T has finally made its debut in China. It arrives as the direct successor to last year’s OnePlus 13T with upgrades across the board, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and an even larger 7,500mAh Si-C battery with speedier 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The 15T also brings updated ingress protection and is now rated at IP68/IP69K, meaning it can survive high-pressure hot and cold-water jets and immersion at up to 1.5m for 30 min.

Elsewhere, the 15T retains the same-sized 6.32-inch AMOLED display with 1,216 x 2,640px resolution from its predecessor, but it now features a faster 165Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at up to 3,600 nits peak local brightness and integrates a 16MP selfie cam as well as an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip sits at the helm, paired with faster LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

OnePlus has once again settled for a pair of 50MP cameras with a 24mm equivalent main shooter armed with a 1/1.56-inch Sony sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, OIS, and 7x lossless zoom. The 15T also supports up to 8K video recording at 60fps as well as 4K120fps video recording with Dolby Vision certification.

The software side is covered by ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 with Oppo AI.

OnePlus 15T is available in white, brown and green colors. The baseline 12/256GB model starts at CNY 4,299 ($625) while the top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version will sell for CNY 5,699 ($828). Open sales in China start tomorrow, March 25, from 10AM local time.

OnePlus did not confirm international rollout for the 15T just yet, but we could very well see it under a different name like the OnePlus 15s, similar to last year’s India-exclusive OnePlus 13s.
