The Redmi Note 15 Pro+, unveiled a few months ago in China, made its international debut today. However, the international model doesn’t share all the specs with its Chinese counterpart.

For starters, the Chinese Redmi Note 15 Pro+ came with a 50MP primary camera, but the international Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a 200MP HPE primary camera with 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom. Its camera lens also supports five focal lengths, ranging from 23mm to 92mm.

The international version’s primary camera is joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera, like the Chinese model, but it drops the 50MP telephoto unit.

Another significant difference between the two versions is in the battery department. The Chinese Redmi Note 15 Pro+ packs a 7,000 mAh battery with 90W charging support, while the international model has a 6,500 mAh Si/C cell under the hood with 100W charging support. It also supports 22.5W reverse wired charging. However, despite having a smaller battery, the international Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is thicker than the Chinese model.

The diagonal size (6.83″), refresh rate (120Hz), and peak brightness (3,200 nits) of the international Redmi Note 15 Pro+’s AMOLED screen are the same as the Chinese version. However, the resolution is slightly different: 2,772×1,280 pixels on the international model versus 2,772×1,220 pixels on the Chinese model.

Furthermore, Xiaomi has used Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 to protect the international model’s display, unlike the Chinese model that came with Dragon Crystal Glass protection.

The chipset remains the same across both versions: the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. What’s also common between the two models is the 32MP selfie camera, HyperOS, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and NFC.

Other features of the international Redmi Note 15 Pro+ include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, and support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. The smartphone also supports eSIMs and has IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.

Furthermore, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ supports Xiaomi’s Offline Communication for “kilometer-level device-to-device voice communication without network coverage,” and comes with the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner for better signal performance across Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and cellular networks.

The international Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is offered in Black, Mocha Brown, and Glacier Blue colors with three memory options – 8GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB.
