    Toni Murphy joins Mediacom as EVP of operations

    Toni Murphy joins Mediacom as EVP of operations

    Mediacom Communications today announced that Toni Murphy has been named Executive Vice President of Operations. Murphy succeeds John Pascarelli who recently retired after a distinguished 28-year career with the company.

    Murphy brings more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale operations in the telecom industry. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Astound, where she led business and residential customer-facing teams across 13 states, covering customer care, technical operations, construction, network, sales, marketing, product, and retail. Prior to Astound, Murphy held several senior leadership roles at Comcast, including Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Central Division, and Senior Vice President of the Keystone Region, multi-billion enterprises for the Company.

    Murphy is a graduate of Princeton University and The WICT Network’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. She sits on the boards of Eat N Park Hospitality Group, WICT and NCTC (National Cable Television Cooperative). She has also been recognized as a Cablefax Power Player and as one of the Most Powerful Women in Cable.
