    London — Developer Security Enablement Platform provider SecureFlag, a leader in secure coding training, launched its AI-Assisted Development Labs, a new hands-on training solution designed to help developers safely integrate AI coding assistants into their workflows.

    AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT are rapidly transforming how software is built, with over 80% of developers worldwide using AI tools in their work according to the Stack Overflow 2025 Developer Survey. Cybersecurity reports found that up to 45% of AI-generated code contains security vulnerabilities, including context-specific risks and the replication of insecure patterns. As AI produces more code than a developer can realistically review manually, vulnerabilities can multiply across an expanding attack surface.

    SecureFlag’s AI-Assisted Development Labs directly address these risks by training developers to critically assess AI outputs and apply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Focused on real-world scenarios and tools already used by development teams, the key learning outcomes include:

    • Producing secure code when prompting and guiding AI assistants

    • Reviewing and validating AI-generated code to identify security issues

    • Integrating AI assistants into the SDLC, enabling interaction with security tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) scanners for vulnerability remediation

    • Building secure automations, including custom skills, agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations
