
4G connectivity is not a luxury anymore in India. It is a necessity. If you are not connected to the 4G or the 5G network in any part of India, then life really slows down for you. Everyone’s on the internet – your friends, your family, in fact the businesses like Swiggy, Zomato, and more, from which you run your regular life. But in the rural areas of the country, the incentive to invest much money isn’t there for the private telcos. While that has been changing in the last year, it still isn’t at a place where it can be compared with the urban cities.

But the Indian government is trying to change that. There are more than 120 crore mobile users in India, and the reach of 4G is still not yet blanket because the rural areas are still missing out. However, Jyotiraditya Scindia, the union telecom minister of the country, said that the rural parts of India will also soon get 4G. In fact, he said that 4G will reach every rural part of India by June 2026.

Scindia said, “The country is witnessing tremendous growth under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 4G network will reach every village across the country by June 2026.”
