New maintenance award joins 2027 Pump Industry Awards
Finalists and winners from the 2026 Pump Industry Awards

Entries have opened for the 2027 Pump Industry Awards, one of the UK’s longest-running pump industry recognition programmes, with nominations sought from companies, organisations and individuals in the sector. A new addition is an award celebrating prowess in pump maintenance and repair.

Organised with the support of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), the awards recognise achievements in engineering excellence, innovation and business performance across the pump sector.

Winners will be announced at the Pump Industry Awards Presentation Dinner, which is scheduled to take place on 11 March 2027 at the Hilton at St George’s Park in Burton upon Trent.

A notable addition to the 2027 programme is the introduction of a new Pump Maintenance Provider of the Year category. The award has been created to recognise the growing importance of maintenance, repair and aftermarket support services in improving asset reliability, operational performance and sustainability throughout the life of pumping equipment.

The new category joins an awards programme that includes recognition for products, projects, environmental performance, manufacturing, distribution, skills development and sustainability initiatives.

The full list of categories comprises: Product of the Year, Project of the Year, Environmental Contribution of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Distributor of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Pump Maintenance Provider of the Year, Contribution to Skills & Training Award, Rising Star Award, and Sustainable Contribution for a Better World.

Wayne Rose, Chief Executive Officer of the BPMA, said: “The Pump Industry Awards continue to provide an invaluable opportunity to recognise the innovation, engineering expertise and dedication that exist throughout our industry. Every year we see outstanding examples of organisations and individuals pushing the boundaries of performance, sustainability and technical excellence, and it is important that these achievements receive the recognition they deserve.

“We are particularly pleased to introduce the new Pump Maintenance Provider of the Year category for 2027. As the industry places ever greater emphasis on asset reliability, operational efficiency and whole-life performance, the contribution made by specialist maintenance and repair providers has never been more significant. This new award acknowledges their vital role in supporting end users and ensuring pumping systems continue to perform at their very best.

“On behalf of the BPMA, I would encourage every eligible business and individual to take the opportunity to enter this year’s Awards. Whether you have developed an innovative product, delivered an exceptional project, invested in skills, embraced sustainability, or achieved excellence in any of our award categories, this is your chance to gain industry-wide recognition. We look forward to celebrating with our finalists and winners at what promises to be another memorable Awards Dinner in March 2027.”

Entries for the awards will remain open until 27 November 2026, after which an independent judging panel will determine the finalists.

Further information, including eligibility criteria and entry forms, is available from the official Pump Industry Awards website.
